About

San Marco Pelli Grezze Spa was founded in 1978 carrying on a primary role in the gathering and trading of bovine and calf hides coming fresh from slaughter-houses of the triveneto area (north eastern part of Italy).

In 1981 San Marco Pelli Grezze Spa started a completely new warehouse in Tezze sul Brenta (Vicenza province) for the preservation of hides. At first is was based on artisan and traditional (manual) methods of preservation and, in 1990 was modernized thanks to the automation and the application of advanced techniques, remarkably improving work conditions of the collaborators and reducing environmental problems.

After a congruous period of preparation, our company achieved the important goal of the Quality System Certificate conforming to the Quality System standard UNI EN ISO 9002 (January 2000) and UNI EN ISO  9001:2000 (march 2003). Customer's satisfaction has always been the main object for San Marco Pelli Grezze spa, and now, thanks to the introduction of new procedures regulating the whole production process, we can guarantee our customers an even higher reliability.
